SGX Surges to Record Highs, FY2026 Financial Triumph

Singapore Exchange (SGX) has smashed previous financial records, posting historic highs in both revenue and net profit for the 2026 fiscal year.

In an announcement on Thursday, August 6, the exchange reported a 7.8% jump in net profit, bringing the total to S698.4 million. This bottom line success was supercharged by an impressive 13.9% surge in net revenue, pushing past the milestone mark to hit S1.5 billion.

The record breaking performance was fueled by strong, sustained activity across SGX's diverse multi  asset pillars spanning equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities (FICC) alongside its rapidly expanding data services.

By positioning itself as a comprehensive international marketplace, SGX successfully captured high trading volumes and robust capital flows, proving its resilience against broader macroeconomic headwinds.

Leadership attributes this stellar financial health to a disciplined focus on global partnerships, product innovation, and meeting the sophisticated demands of institutional investors.

These

strategic bets have not only strengthened Singapore's standing as a premier financial powerhouse, but have also delivered exceptional value to shareholders and market participants.

Armed with a fortress balance sheet, SGX enters the upcoming fiscal year with serious momentum. The exchange is primed to channel these robust earnings into cutting edge technology, enhanced cybersecurity, and green financial products, ensuring it stays ahead of the curve in a fast changing global financial ecosystem.
